Axiom #1 is the result of a dialogue between two artists following a series of exchanges during the COVID period. It stands with its ‘48 Axioms about contemporary art’ as the embodiment of these reflections. It is the initial stride towards what will evolve into TOPO?, an experimental and theoretical framework for showcasing and debating art. At the core of this inaugural exhibition lies the ‘personal’ inquiries of these two artists into the relevance and possible forms of painting ‘today’ as an attempt) in an era saturated with media and excessive materialism.
