COLLABORATIVE AGENCY
Founding Members (1997)
MANUEL ABENDROTH
JERÔME DECOCK
In its early years, LAb[au] was best described as a collaborative agency bringing together artists, architects, designers, musicians, programmers, and researchers. As its methodology matured, LAb[au] gradually evolved into an artistic label shaped by the research of its founders.
Today, collaborations unfold within this conceptual framework. Behind every project carrying the LAb[au] label stand the many contributors whose names are acknowledged here. Throughout this evolving constellation, Manuel Abendroth and Jérôme Decock have remained the continuous thread since 1997.
