WORKSHOPS

Workshops accompanied many of LAb[au]'s artistic projects and exhibitions as contexts for experimentation, discussion and knowledge exchange. Rather than functioning as conventional technical training, they translated ongoing investigations into language, computation, spatial perception and generative systems into participatory formats adapted to different audiences. They constituted a practical immersion into LAb[au]'s artistic methodology and thinking. Many were conceived in response to invitations from museums, festivals and educational institutions, providing forms of mediation that made the conceptual foundations of the studio's work accessible through direct experimentation.
