SYNOPSIS

This publication brings together two concurrent solo exhibitions by LAb[au]: POSSIBLES | PROBABLES at Botanique and FARBEN | FERNAB at Galerie La Patinoire Royale Bach.

Conceived as a sequence of twelve booklets, it unfolds through six conceptual chapters:

white
white to black
black
words
words to colour
colour

This progression establishes a shared theoretical and artistic framework for the two exhibitions, moving from the achromatic field and binary contrast through language towards colour. Rather than presenting the exhibitions as separate events, the publication reveals them as complementary stages within LAb[au]’s investigation of protocols, signs, systems, and the meanings of colour.

General views and double-page presentations of the artworks document both exhibitions, while the editorial sequence articulates their conceptual continuity.
